Lets Talk Music Background

There had been plans to build letstalkmusic.com for some time. It was clear that the radical changes going on with music on the web would change everything. How most music is made, distributed and bought would be very different in the future. Via the web musicians can get their music to a much wider audience for a much lower cost than previously, and this wouldn't necessarily require contracts and distribution agreements.

We believed that there was a real future for a website that helped musicians get their music heard and promoted their careers. When tonos.com went down that sealed it. We knew we had to go ahead.

The problem was that after the collapse of the dot com boom, mention the words internet or web to investors and they'd run for the door. In any case we didn't want people in suits telling us what we should and shouldn't do with the site. We knew we wanted to do it well though.

We approached White Hat Media with a brief and were very impressed with what they came back with We knew they'd already built some successful sites for major names in the industry and were able to deliver the site we needed. We were so impressed that we asked them to come on board.

The site has been some months in the making andwe hope you're pleased with the results. We're very pleased with the site we have and as well as improving what's there are now looking to phase two of the development.
